Video Tutoring - Learning in Real Life

Video Tutoring - Learning in Real LifeOne of the key points in the video tutoring that almost all tutors make the distinction between video tutoring and audio tutoring. The key difference is the audio element and the role it plays in video tutoring. In short video tutoring uses the audio element to form a learning experience whereas audio tutoring is simply listening to a video recording that is meant to be used as an instructional tool.Video tutoring has come a long way since its inception. In fact, the main advantage is that video provides the learner the ability to actively participate and learn at the same time. In an audio only environment, the learner has little if any chance to participate or even understand what is being taught. Because the learner can be active, learn new information, and also interact with the teacher, audio learning has its own disadvantages.Audio-only video learning provides no opportunities for active participation, no opportunities for the learner to in teract with the teacher, and the learner's performance is not tracked. The learner needs to have a strong sense of what they want to learn in order to effectively participate in the video. The learner has to be willing to invest some energy into engaging with the course material.Another challenge of audio-only video tutoring is that it can create a very intense learning experience for the student. As the learner is not allowed to communicate with the teacher, the course material becomes very abstract and difficult to grasp. Students often become frustrated with the course material as they need to take action to get the information. In addition, when students are not actively engaged in the learning process, they are not as likely to be paying attention to the instructor or even have any desire to participate. There is one major benefit to video tutoring that most instructors do not talk about, but that is very important when you are considering the advantages of taking a course in a real-life environment and having a teacher who is directly facing the student, that is a classroom or a real-life scenario. When the instructor is in the actual classroom and face to face with the student, the student feels in control of the situation. They feel in control of the learning process. The student is forced to make a choice, they either listen to the tutor or not. The student has to make the choice that they feel comfortable with and if they are not comfortable with it, then they will skip the class or take it after another lesson. This is a great advantage of video tutoring. It is also a great advantage for the teacher because it allows them to spend their time on the students that have the greatest problem, on those students that have the most difficulty grasping the concepts, and the most difficult students are those who usually are most motivated to take the class. For these students, video tutoring will give them a huge benefit. This is because their motivation and in terest are so high, they will take the class for the fact that they can listen to the tutor and improve their knowledge of physics.Video tutoring is an excellent choice for improving a physics course. Not only does it allow students to interact with the instructor, but it also allows them to take interactive lessons.
